Do I need to book escape rooms in advance?

Yes, we strongly recommend booking online in advance especially on weekends. Walk-ins are accepted subject to availability, but popular rooms often sell out. Booking takes under two minutes at cipherx.resova.us.

Can I play an escape room alone?

Accepted Answer

Technically yes, but escape rooms are designed as team experiences. Solo play is very difficult. We recommend a minimum of 2 players. Groups of 4-6 tend to have the best success rates and the most fun.

Question 3

What if we get completely stuck in the escape room?

Accepted Answer

Request a hint! Your Game Master is watching and happy to give you a nudge. There is no limit on hints. We would rather you progress and enjoy the room than stare at the same puzzle for 20 minutes.

Are escape rooms scary?

Accepted Answer

Not in the traditional jump-scare sense. Some rooms have spooky themes but there are no live actors, no physical contact and no sudden scares. Check the individual room ratings before booking if you are sensitive to horror themes.

Question 5

What is the minimum age for escape rooms at CipherX?

Accepted Answer

Players must be 8 years or older. Players under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Some horror-themed rooms are recommended for 13+ due to atmospheric content.

Are CipherX escape rooms wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

Both locations are wheelchair accessible and our rooms are designed to be playable for participants with mobility challenges. Contact us in advance and we will advise on which rooms best suit your group needs.
